The 5 Pillars
Each pillar is a deep investigation into one decision visitors have to make. Supporting articles drill into specific edge cases under each pillar.
Methodology
Every article in the program follows the same protocol: source aggregation, normalization, anomaly detection across four layers, manual cross-check, and publication only when the evidence threshold is met. We document the full methodology — what we measure, how we verify, what we exclude.

The Trastevere Food Tour Research Corpus is the evidence base behind every article in this program: 26,181 items gathered from seven independent platforms between April 2010 and September 2026, of which 14,055 were processed for topic, sentiment and claims. Every figure published on this site traces back to it.

Travel Analysts
Our team analyzes what travelers publicly reported about each tour — thousands of reviews, forum threads and questions — and verifies what can be verified against operators and official sources. We publish what the evidence supports, including the parts that argue against a booking.
