Both exist, and it's worth checking the route: many of the best-reviewed walks cross Ponte Garibaldi into the Jewish Ghetto (carciofo alla giudia territory) or start at Campo de' Fiori and work toward the river. A combo route gives you two or three historic quarters in one walk; a Trastevere-only route goes deeper into fewer streets.
